Can the doctor appeal against the decision made by the Inquiry Panel of the Medical Council?

Yes, the doctor can appeal to the Court of Appeal. If there is an appeal, you will not be asked to appear at the appeal hearing. The Court of Appeal may affirm, reverse or vary the orders made by us or remit the case back to us for re-hearing.
